Professional body urgently requires a Public Affairs professional for a 12 month fixed term contract to specifically advise on Scottish policy.  Whilst the role is home based for now, the expectation is that the successful candidate will travel regularly between Scotland and London.   Will only consider candidates with Scottish Policy experience.

Job specifics include:

• To analyse Government policy, research and help shape responses
• Ensure body has positive input into work at all levels of government in Scotland relating to their specific area of focus
• To develop and delivery policy strategy
• Advise and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders in the region
• Draft content for a variety of channels and formats
• Work with wider communications team to ensure activity is aligned
• Represent body at relevant external meetings
