My client, a research and educational institute is searching for a Head of Public Engagement to start immediately on a day rate £350 – £400 based in central London for an initial period of 2/3 months.

The main focus of this role will be to run a specific educational outreach programme, community engagement team, exhibition team and public engagement events programme.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the overall public engagement strategy
• Work closely with the communications team
• Build strong relations with various external stakeholders, including schools and local communities.
• Managing a team of five talented and ambitious individuals

Desired skills:

• Experience of working within an educational/ academic organisation
• Ability to work quickly to strict deadline with a proactive mind set and a self-started
