Overview:

VMA GROUP are partnering with a leading organisation in the corporate travel and events industry, who are expanding, seeking a Growth Marketing Director, Global. Reporting to the Global Marketing, Brand, and Communications Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the marketing strategy to achieve the pre-defined 24/25 objectives. During the maternity leave of the Global Marketing, Brand, and Comms Director, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and the global executive team

    to execute the pre-defined 24/25 strategy and deliverables.

  • Lead the global marketing function, encompassing marketing-led growth, PR, corporate communications, brand, customer marketing, and product marketing.

  • Work with various teams to generate new leads and support pipeline conversion.

  • Utilise digital marketing expertise to drive market share gain and achieve targets.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure target achievement and professional growth.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, delivering success in a matrix organisation.

  • Focus primarily on the UK and US markets while contributing to global targets.

  • Collaborate closely with the Global Marketing, Brand, and Communications Director and other members of the Global Executive team to achieve results.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience of 10 -15 years in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably within the travel industry.

  • Salesforce knowledge essential

  • Strong grasp of how different marketing verticals contribute to lead generation and pipeline conversion.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies to drive market share gain.

  • Experience managing global teams and succeeding in a matrix organisation.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, demanding business environment.

  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and open-minded approach to leadership.

  • Track record of achieving results against targets, particularly in lead generation and new business wins.
