​Communications Planning Executive (FTC - 14 month maternity cover)

Job Type: FTC (Maternity Cover) for approx 14 months

This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (2 days in the London office weekly), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and 11% pension after one year of service.

Salary: £34,000 – £38,800

To manage communication planning process and delivery for key impact activity across all audiences and providing support for other brand activity across the Brand and Communication Planning Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage communication planning process for our client’s campaigns and impact activity for consumer, business and policy maker audiences. Includ-ing pulling together comms planning frameworks, brief development, pro-ject plans, stakeholder management, feedback, approvals, asset delivery and report analysis.

  • Support in the development of brand and key activities for our client that deliver organisational performance metrics across key audiences (consum-ers, policymakers, businesses).

  • Engage and collaborate with key internal, cross-functional, stakeholders and teams to: align plans, gather relevant insight, ensure consistency and deliver maximum impact across the organisation and key audiences, within brand guidelines.

  • Manage day-to-day relationships and project status with creative and me-dia agency partners during activity development, as well as internal crea-tive and production teams.

  • Work closely with various Insight and Analytics teams to monitor in-flight performance, optimise as required, and comprehensively report on activity performance.

  • Support with team administration tasks such as budget management, planning tools, external news and horizon scanning, and weekly key activity updates.

  • Subject matter expert/point of contact on assigned impact area, updating wider team on status to ensure alignment and most effective planning.

The candidate will have a positive attitude and proactive approach to projects, with an eagerness to develop, learn and take on challenges. A proactive approach will also be needed, with the ability to use initiative. You will need the ability to contribute to, and work as part of a team whilst supporting stakeholders.
