Communications Content Manager (12-Month FTC)

Our client, a global technology company with 4,000 employees, is seeking a Communications Content Manager with a talent for creating captivating written content that serves multiple purposes, from internal articles to press releases and social media posts.

You’ll be shaping the narrative of the organisation and making an impact through the written word. The successful candidate should be passionate about using the power of words to inform, inspire, and influence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: As the Communications Content Manager, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality written content across multiple platforms. This means crafting articles, press releases, blog posts and other materials.

  • Strategic Communication: You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand key messages (Business, Tech, ESG etc) and develop strategies for effectively communicating them through written content.

  • Multi-Platform Adaptability: Your written work should seamlessly transition across various platforms, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and messaging.

  • Brand Voice Maintenance: Upholding the organisation's brand voice and values in all written communications is crucial.

  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaboration is key in this role. You'll liaise with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and executive leadership, to gather insights and ensure alignment on communication strategies and initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in corporate communications.

 

Key Experience:

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, content creation, or journalism.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strategic mindset with the capacity to think creatively and analytically.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.

  • Preferred degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.

 

This is a maternity cover contract with three days per week in the central London office. The successful candidate should have a maximum of a one-month notice and be available to start a new role from July.
