A newly created role as Social Impact Lead for a property group with over 600 site focused on ensuring all properties have an element that is benefiting the communities in which they operate.  Working with business to ensure social impact programmes are embedded in processes and working to engage with communities to ensure projects are aligned to their needs. 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Seek out opportunities to maximise the social impact of their estate through effective use of space within the community, through innovation and thought leadership.
• Working across the property team to identify appropriate local charity projects and community initiatives in line with their social impact goals.
• Identify community leaders where appropriate and build long term relationships to raise aware-ness and understanding of their needs.
• Work with colleagues managing the existing buildings and outdoor spaces to identify appropriate space which could be put to community use, liaising with local charity projects or non-profit schemes in line with social impact goals. 

Looking for someone with a community / stakeholder relations background able to develop a strong network and understating of their community needs and work with the business to plan and execute projects successfully. 

They need to also capture the information around the business and ensure there is a cohesive narrative and easily accessible data on projects and achievements which can be used for future bids, awards, case studies, etc. 

They offer flex working with need to be in office around business need 1 -2 days a week.
