We are seeking a Energy Specialist Marketing and Communications to come in and work on regional projects and global.

Role Overview
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting business development initiatives, mapping key stakeholders, identifying profiling opportunities, and developing a strategic calendar of internal and external activities. These include speaking engagements, industry trade shows, internal roadshows, and leadership communications. You will take a hands-on approach in executing these initiatives, working closely with specialists across the broader Communications and Marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Asia’s senior leadership team and regional communications and marketing leads to ensure alignment with the Asia business plan, priorities, and objectives.

  • Partner with the business partners and communications & marketing colleagues to craft external messaging that strengthens brand visibility and supports talent acquisition.

  • Support business development, win work, and market leads across Asia to drive market growth through targeted positioning, project support, and strategic campaigns.

  • Amplify the voice of the regional CEO and senior leadership through internal and external communication strategies.

  • Contribute actively to government relations and social value initiatives across the region.

  • Advise internal stakeholders on effective marketing and communication strategies, deployment plans, performance metrics, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with global standards.

  • Manage external communications and event-related vendors, including PR agencies and freelance or contract support.

  • Cultivate strong working relationships with internal clients across functions.

  • Support and deliver initiatives across key markets including Hong Kong, Mainland China, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Collaboration & Integration
You will collaborate closely with Marketing & Digital Communications, External Communications, and Internal Communications leads across the region, as well as with the global Communications & Marketing team, to design and execute integrated campaigns. You will also support the regional rollout of global initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.

You must have

  • In-depth knowledge of the Engineering Services market across Asia, with a clear understanding of regional dynamics.

  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and report to senior leadership.

  • Strong familiarity with the Rail & Transportation, Buildings & Places, and Industrial sectors, including key industry players and trends.

  • A minimum of 9 years of professional experience living and working in Asia, complemented by international exposure through study or residence abroad.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align marketing and communications efforts with broader business objectives.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and independently, across different management levels and geographies.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Well-rounded marketing and communications experience, with a particular strength in marketing strategy and execution.

  • Data-driven mindset with a commitment to performance measurement and continuous improvement.

  • Proactive, confident, and creative in generating, developing, and delivering new ideas and initiatives.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and strong presentation abilities.

  • Skilled in creating compelling, audience-focused content for a variety of platforms including campaigns, reports, articles, speeches, case studies, social media, and websites.

  • Demonstrated success working in a complex, matrixed organisational structure.

The role is full time, and the working pattern is hybrid, 3 days minimum in the office.
