We are working with a global client based in the city of London, and they are looking to recruit a senior internal communications manager with strong internal events experience.

You will report to the Director of Internal Communications and be responsible for the internal communications around employee events, which will be hosted in person and virtually with a mix of hybrid in between.

It is an exciting time to join the firm as they are really looking for a communication professional to advise the senior leadership team on how to engage their employees and create impactful and exciting, creative events for their employees across the globe.

We are looking for someone who can plan and execute employee events as well as create the content for the events, including the campaigns leading up to the events and the feedback after the events:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the virtual and in-person global events program, which has been designed to give employees the opportunity to have open and honest conversations with the Executives and Senior leadership team across the business. In persona and virtually.

  • Manage the logistics from start to finish for global events such as the Global senior leadership meetings, townhalls, round tables, milestone dinners etc

  • Support the leaders with face-to-face communications, providing suggestions for the agendas and content to include and sharing best practices with the other teams in the business

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field.

  • Solid experience in internal communications for a global complex matrix organisation

  • A proven track record of managing high-profile internal events

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Knowledge of current communication and technology trends and best practices.
