​Our client is looking for a skilled and professional Internal Communications professional to join their team as their Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager.

You will work in partnership with the Head of Communications and Engagement as well as the wider Communications team with the strategic direction and delivery of the internal communications and employee engagement strategy.

As a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, you will work closely with your colleagues to celebrate the company's successes, vision, mission, brand and values.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who is happy to do the doing but also the strategic thinking and planning to propel the IC function forward. 

You are an excellent writer, being able to adapt content for a variety of audiences and have experience delivering online and offline events.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Creating, driving and delivering strategic and business-critical communication and general employee communications.

  • Manage and deliver a programme of internal events and activities throughout the year, both in-person and online 

  • Owning the design and execution of the content, budgets and partner relationships

  • As the Senior Internal Communications Business Partner, you will build relationships with key business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and shaping business communications to support the strategic needs of their business area. Provide expert guidance to senior leaders and teams to support profile raising, collaboration and internal reputation management.

  • Manage and improve employee engagement levels by supporting the business to improve engagement scores and oversee the Annual Engagement Survey report

  • As a strong storyteller in both words and images,  generate creative ideas and execute them across multiple channels 

  • Ensure the company purpose and values are reflected in all communications initiatives

  • Engage colleagues in company culture, vision and mission as well as by supporting ED&I initiatives throughout the year 

  • Take a lead role in managing crisis communications and crafting timely messaging to colleagues to ensure the company’s operations and reputation are protected

  • Line Management of Communications Executive
