Job Description

We’re working with a global law firm who are on the search for a Senior Internal Communications Executive to join their London-based Internal Communications team on an initial 6-month contract basis (hybrid working options available).

The successful candidate will support the wider IC team in the strategic development and execution of internal communications plans, and will have particular responsible over the delivery of content across the internal channels mix. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to join a fast-paced, corporate and complex organisation within financial services

Key responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for inspiring, informing, and updating your colleagues about the companies purpose, strategy, and values

  • With your excellent networking skills, you will source and create engaging, insightful, and exciting content that will be shared across various internal communications channels

  • Establish and build a network of communications champions around the UK business who can support you with sourcing and sharing content for feel-good stories that will inspire their people

  • Support the wider team with Corporate Responsibility and BAU initiatives and work closely with HR and Communications Manager

  • Own and manage the internal communications infrastructure, including distribution lists, event management, and supplier relationships, ensuring everything is updated and accurate

  • Supporting the co-ordination of video production for the client’s internal audience

  • In anticipation of the 'return to office’ shift, driving content for in-office employees on a number of information systems, such as screensavers and TV screens

  • Supporting an initiative to redesign and reinvigorate the use of surveys and newsletters as an IC function

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Internal Communications

  • Someone with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong copywriter and content creator

  • Professional communication skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time

  • Works well under pressure

  • Ideally some professional services sector experience
