National Grid is looking for an experienced Senior Internal Communications expert to join their team with specific experience of leading team to business partner divisions as well as work more collaboratively to share best practice and improve service to internal customers.  With a track record in senior stakeholder management, this individual will develop strategy, plan and content for engaging workforce linked to wider business strategy. They will also support CEO on leadership communications and advise on channel strategy and development to be fit for purpose.

Specifically responsible for:

• Develop and deliver employee communications strategy
• Comms Lead for Leadership communications campaigns from change projects to financial announcements
• Advise SLT on engagement strategies and leadership visibility programmes
• Develop two way communications channels and encourage conversations across functions
• Share best practise across teams and business units and demonstrating how communications can add value
