​Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Global Media Relations Manager to join a market leading FMCG (food) business who own well known and much loved brands!

This role will be responsible for all aspects of corporate communications from managing media and press, leadership/executive profiling and actively promote the business’ successes and new initiatives at a global level.

You will play a key role in reactive communications such as issues/crisis comms as well as managing the corporate press office.

Key responsibilities/skills:

  • Create, develop and deliver the PR & communications strategies to raise awareness and build upon the reputation of the business externally at a global, corporate level.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining global messaging and proof points for media and external communications, shaping campaigns to enhance the cultural relevance of the corporate brand and individual consumer brands.

  • Responsible for all media relations (including top tier), developing and building relationships with key target media in the UK and globally.

  • Strong stakeholder management/influencing skills – you will have exposure to the CEO and work with senior executives to advise on communications and identifying media profiling opportunities.

  • Lead on issues/crisis comms and brand reputation activities.

  • You will oversee all communications to the media, such as press releases, press kits, managing press trips and other content initiatives.

  • Manage the corporate communications agency support in relevant markets.

  • You will have significant experience in media relations, PR and corporate communications.

  • Strong understanding of the UK media landscape.

  • Experience working in the FMCG industry is helpful, but not mandatory.
