Job Title: Senior Corporate Communications Manager
Location: Hertfordshire | Hybrid Working (2-3 days a week in the office)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Communications Manager to join a fast-paced and dynamic Corporate Affairs team in the food & drink industry. This role is pivotal in shaping and protecting the company’s reputation through strategic external communications, media relations, and corporate storytelling.

The successful candidate will lead all corporate communications to external stakeholders, manage financial results announcements, oversee a busy press office, and drive proactive PR campaigns. They will also provide strategic counsel to senior leaders and ensure alignment across brand, trade, and consumer communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of financial results communications.

  • Develop and execute a proactive corporate PR strategy aligned with business and ESG goals.

  • Manage the press office and act as the first point of contact for media enquiries.

  • Support senior leaders with media engagement, content creation, and briefing materials.

  • Oversee corporate digital channels, including the website and social media.

  • Provide strategic input on brand-led PR and reputational issues.

  • Maintain strong media relationships and manage external PR agencies.

  • Monitor media coverage and deliver timely insights to the business.

  • Contribute to M&A communications and industry award submissions.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in corporate/external communications, ideally within a listed business.

  • Prior experience managing press offices.

  • Proven track record of delivering impactful PR campaigns and financial communications.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse audiences and platforms.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Agile, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
