The Opportunity

We are delighted to partner with a prominent wealth management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional investment services to private clients, charities, trustees, and professional partners. Guided by a commitment to sustainability and responsible decision-making, they are seeking a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to join their team in London. This is a pivotal role where you will shape the corporate brand narrative, enhancing visibility and positive sentiment across key media and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a compelling corporate brand narrative across media, website, social media, reports, and other channels.

  • Maintain proactive relationships with financial, business, and national media, organising events and touchpoints to enhance engagement.

  • Create and pitch high-impact content, campaigns, and stories that align with the corporate narrative and drive media coverage.

  • Oversee content repurposing for other channels, such as social media, blogs, and email marketing, optimising for SEO.

  • Collaborate with external PR agencies and suppliers to ensure measurable progress against communication goals.

  • Support crisis and issues management, coordinating with internal teams and social media channels as needed.

  • Lead initiatives to elevate senior executives’ media profiles through thought leadership, comment pieces, and events.

  • Manage corporate awards submissions, aligning with broader PR and communication strategies.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced journalist or professional with a background in PR and communications, either in-house or agency.

  • Strong understanding of business finance, with a solid grasp of the financial services, wealth, or asset management sectors.

  • Excellent relationships with financial and business media, with proven ability to generate impactful coverage.

  • Exceptional writing skills, including for media, social media, and SEO-optimised content.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute engaging campaigns and stories.

  • Collaborative team player who understands the integration of PR, marketing, and communications functions.

  • Organised and strategic, with strong planning and process management skills to deliver results.
