Senior Corporate Communications Manager

​Charity organisation needs an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to lead a small team across media relations, internal communications, events and stakeholder relations. Helping to raise their profile as leading industry spokespeople, develop partnerships and communicate their strategic vision to all parties.

Specifics include:

  • Develop a proactive thought-leadership PR programme and broaden out target media engagement

  • Lead on reputation management and planning

  • Work with wider policy team to develop key messages and relationships with Government bodies, trade associations and other stakeholder groups

  • Develop an internal communications strategy and engagement plan

  • Put in place an events plan

Candidates must have previous management experience ideally gained in third sector with large stakeholder groups – ideally education or membership body.

Offices in Manchester or Birmingham with need to be in the office one to two days a week.
