​Consumer business looking for an experienced Corporate Communications professional to join their high performing team. Acting as deputy for Corporate Affairs Director, the successful candidate will lead the press office, brand PR activation and issues management in the UK.

Specific activities:

• Develop a content calendar aligned to the business objectives and look at opportunities to seize news agenda.

• Take lead on any reputation management incidents.

• Lead on sustainability and social impact news.

• Oversee PR agency relationships.

• Advise leadership on all things comms, support with speech writing and speaking points.

• Ensure measurement and report back to business.

Ideally from a consumer facing industry with a creative approach and strong writer – able to go out in the business and find the stories and package them up for different audiences / channels. Must have previous press office and reactive crisis comms experience gained in an issues rich commercial business.

Required to be in HQ or other sites two days a week.
