Regulatory Affairs Manager

The UK business is looking to add to their influential Corporate Affairs & Communications team with the appointment of a Regulatory Affairs Manager.

The role will lead on external engagement activities on behalf of the UK business with political stakeholders in Westminster in both the House of Commons and House of Lords. A particular focus is placed on developing relationships with new political and business stakeholders through corporate events, one to one meetings, party conferences and ad-hoc events.

The successful candidate will have worked within Westminster and then transitioned into the corporate world, ideally into another regulated industry or they may have been working in a Public Affairs agency and are looking to make the move in house.

They will need to be resilient, not afraid of a challenge and comfortable working in a sector that is often in the spotlight.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Public Affairs in a regulated sector either in house or in agency
  • Experience with Westminster and devolved UK governments
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to lead and implement new strategies
  • Resilient and able to work in a challenging sector
  • An excellent sense of humour and a skilled team player
