The opportunity
My client is a listed technology company and is looking for a Public Relations Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive PR, social media, and thought leadership strategy across the EMEA region. They are located in Central London, with a 3 days (in office) hybrid working policy.
Key responsibilities
Lead the execution of PR, social media, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen the brand and market position.
Support the Executive Board with executive communications, including media interviews, speech writing, and social media management.
Enhance the digital presence through SEO-optimized content in collaboration with digital and demand teams.
Manage the distribution of brand communications across the EMEA region and coordinate monthly briefings with senior colleagues.
Oversee the press office, ensuring timely and effective responses to media inquiries.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of external communications, integrating insights into marketing reports.
Work closely with external PR agencies to achieve objectives and support crisis communications when necessary.
Collaborate with various marketing functions to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
The ideal candidate
Degree in communications or a related field, with extensive experience in corporate communications or public relations.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce targeted content such as speeches, blogs, and newsletters.
Ability to connect market trends to business needs and craft compelling narratives.
Experience in executive communications, including writing for senior management in a suitable tone of voice.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with digital platforms and experience creating impactful campaigns for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to set up and utilize metrics to measure communication impact.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is a plus.
