A great opportunity here for a capable comms professional to join a FTSE 250-listed business, one of the UK’s largest insurers, as a PR Manager on a 12-month FTC.

Working for one of its flagship brands as part of a busy and award-winning Group communications function with plenty of media interest, you’ll need to be credible, calm under pressure and entirely comfortable engaging with journalists and senior stakeholders alike. Covering an internal secondment, there’ll also be plenty of opportunity to get involved with major campaigns, data-led new stories, agency management and social media.

This role would suit a skilled media relations professional who is perhaps seeking a move into a vibrant in-house environment in a regulated industry and is equally comfortable working autonomously as they are engaging with wider Marketing colleagues. You’ll definitely need to have demonstrable knowhow in how to convert omnibus surveys and other marketing research into engaging, impactful external communications collateral. Some experience in consumer finance or wider financial services would also be beneficial.

While much of this role will be performed remotely, you will still need to visit offices in Bromley (South London) at least once a week until an imminent move to new London Bridge premises in the first half of 2023.
