We are seeking a Media Planning & Activation Manager who will be responsible for managing paid media planning & activation across a range of marketing campaigns in EMEA. The role will specifically manage planning & activation across a range of campaigns to strategically advance our paid media capabilities to drive business performance.

Would suit an agency candidate looking to make the move in house

London based, hybrid working (2 days in office a week, 3 from home) 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage development of media plans, taking into account campaign goals

  • Review campaign briefs submitted by destination marketing, and other internal teams. Work in collaboration with agency partners to build response to brief

  • Successfully activate and manage media campaigns including deployment, execution, optimisation and reporting

  • Digital channel management for paid social and digital display, including activation across platforms such as Facebook, in collaboration with our agency partners

  • Management of monthly always on budgets in Destination Marketing, including making recommendations on investment strategy, working in collaboration with our performance media team

  • Lead in forecasting and budget tracking conversations with finance or other outside teams

  • Work in collaboration with Performance media team to ensure campaigns are aligned through the marketing funnel, helping to craft & manage a holistic view of all media activity in region

  • Partner with Performance media team to oversee both website and campaign retargeting

  • Manage Media campaign activation, including the content & messaging matrix, site tagging, QA & partner management

  • Build campaign reporting both during and post the campaign, ensuring campaigns are both highly optimised and fully tracked

  • Building strong internal relationships with connective teams such as Brand Marketing & Destination Marketing to identify, scope and lead partners to execute campaigns in region

  • Managing external partners to deliver campaign performance across all paid media channels

  • Proactively support agency teams in making optimisations to improve campaign performance 

  • Understand insights from attribution reporting and translate them into campaign strategies and optimisations

  • Work closely with the Data and Tech team to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and reporting

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of planning & activating media campaigns to deliver against business goals and objectives

  • Solution-oriented, thinking ahead about the big picture and pre-empting possible problems or complications

  • Highly organised individual who can is able to multitask

  • Strong working knowledge across paid social, digital display and retargeting channels

  • Able to work collaboratively with external media partners and publishers

  • Experience of stakeholder management, and planning role within major organization / brand is ideal

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act autonomously

  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met

  • Able to travel as required
