A high profile regulatory body is seeking a Media and Public Affairs Manager to join its London team. Reporting into the Head of Communications your role will be to communicate to a range of audiences including the public, the advertising industry, government, NGOs and the media. This organisation’s policy decisions and weekly rulings generate regular and high-profile media attention and are subject to robust scrutiny by politicians and commentators. 

There is a requirement to travel to Edinburgh 2-4 days a month and to have previous demonstrable experience of working with Scottish Government stakeholders. Your work will intersect with a number of high-profile public policy debates, such as combating obesity, gambling problems and alcohol addiction.  This involves managing interactions with stakeholders with conflicting needs, necessitating political nous and excellent media management skills.
