The Role:

To bring behaviour change marketing experience, creative flair, rigour and ambition to communications for our client. In this role, you will help bring the voice and perspective of the consumer to our client and play a key role in developing and delivering communications that resonate with consumer audiences. You will also need to identify when it is appropriate for our client to alert or inform consumers about risks and when it is appropriate to work with or through partners or signpost to other sources of help and advice.

List the key responsibilities of this job:

·     Develop and implement integrated marketing and behaviour change campaigns to help protect consumers from risk. Campaigns may include advertising, PR, partnership activity, events, online and printed material.

·     Develop clear evaluation plans and a robust evidence base for campaigns.

·     Effectively manage suppliers, including creative, media and digital agencies, ensuring agencies are well briefed and deliver to our goals and budgets.

·     Manage campaign budgets, supplier negotiations, ensuring value for money and clear returns on marketing investment.

·     Be an effective and collegiate member of the Communications Division, working with colleagues across teams to ensure we meet our business objectives.

Required proven experience in a specific technical area or skill:

·     Knowledge and experience of marketing communications and campaign delivery – including advertising, media, PR, social media and partnerships.

·     Experience of running and managing paid social media campaigns using relevant tools and applications.

Required role-specific know-how, skills and behaviours:

·     Experience of delivering marketing campaigns with working knowledge of communication strategy development, media planning and buying, advertising, digital, partnership marketing and PR and campaign evaluation.

·     Good planning and organisational skills and experience of working in a high pressure environment, managing multiple projects across a range of projects.

·     Experience of working with qualitative and quantitative research, analysing and interpreting data and converting to actionable insight Experience of managing suppliers and agencies to ensure cost effectiveness and quality, building good relationships and managing performance to get the best results for the business.

·     Responds positively to challenges and sees tasks through to completion.

·     Capable of being a role model for our client’s competency and behavioural standards and be a good team player across the wider Communications division.

 

Role-specific know-how, skills and behaviours that would be advantageous:

·     Experience of working on social behaviour change campaigns.

·     Experience of developing communications targeting disengaged and/or hard to reach audiences.

·     Experience of working in a communications role within the financial services sector, government and third sector would be helpful but not essential.

Salary –£34,000 to £38,000 (depending on experience)
