Purpose of Post
Our client, a leading global economic consultancy firm, is undergoing an exciting period of investing in and upgrading certain internal processes, one of which being a new and improved intranet system. This has paved the way for a new interim opportunity for an Internal Communications specialist to play a pivotal role in the project; overseeing the development, roll-out and ongoing maintenance of a new intranet system, ensuring all departments and key stakeholders are involved. On the day-to-day, the Intranet and Internal Channels Executive will centrally be tasked with creating new and engaging digital content for different audiences, as well as transferring existing intranet content to the new system.
Our client, based in central London (and offering hybrid working options), would like the successful candidate to start in early February on an initial 8-weekcontract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Alongside the Internal Communications team, you will be project managing the review of content and working collaboratively with the wider IT and Marketing & Communications teams, helping build and maintain a platform to effectively share information internally and support employee engagement. You will also identify and create compelling, user-focused content.
You will work closely with the Internal Communications Advisor to develop an intranet content plan, commissioning and managing digital content to use in internal digital channels.
You will advise and work closely with various internal ‘authors’ to ensure that content is relevant, engaging, consistent and timely.
Key Requirements
You will have demonstrable experience in digital employee engagement, with a practical understanding of intranet platforms (and/or web content management systems).
You will have strength in digital content creation/editing, backed-up by prior experience within an Internal Communications setting.
You will be a skilled (internal) communicator, capable at effectively communicating and simplifying changes to our client’s systems to various (and sometimes non-technical) audiences.
As a character, you will be tech-savvy, pro-active and enthusiastic.
