We are working with a fantastic organisation on a number or roles.

This role will sit as part of the Internal Comms team whose purpose is to connect people to the strategy and help them understand how their role contributes to the delivery of the strategy.They do this by working with senior leaders to help them develop their communications plans in support of the key business priorities and encouraging their people to share their feedback, ideas and experiences.

 

JOB PURPOSE

The position reports to the Internal Communications Director and is part of the wider Internal Communications department.

To support the business priority campaigns by defining and prioritising strategic comms objectives – to design, implement and measure internal communications plans while always considering and focusing on activities and priorities that support our frontline.

 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Shape and refine channel and content strategy to effectively reach and engage employees across various platforms

  • Establish clear governance that drives efficiency and high quality content

  • Maintain and manage weekly content planner, prioritizing and optimizing communications in line with our strategic priorities and key campaigns

  • Maintain and manage primary internal channels including collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure content remains up-to-date, consistent, and relevant

  • Manage a team of content creators who are responsible for:

    • working with members of the Internal Comms team to help produce compelling and engaging content for key campaigns (all form: written, multi-media, etc)

    • sourcing and producing impactful stories that bring our behaviours and strategy to life

  • Manage the development and delivery of creative campaign and content plans including comms plans, writing copy, and deploying content across our channels, which lead to effective cascade, conversation, and engagement.

  • Work with the social media team, marketing team and external PR team to align external comms activity with the internal comms plan and strategy

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in internal communications channels, incorporating new ideas to enhance employee engagement

  • Develop best practice and track engagement metrics to: enhance communication flow, frequency, and success measures, and enhance overall channel effectiveness and engagement

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on internal communication tools and technologies, providing guidance and training to users and encourage ‘self service’

  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on the performance of internal communication channels

  • Familiarity with the airline or transport industry would be advantageous
