Interim PR & Communications Manager

​Our long-standing higher education client is looking for immediate support within their communications team, specifically to add capacity and to focus on the PR and Communications needs of certain faculties within the organisation.

Working as part of a team, this role will focus on devising and implementing PR plans across traditional and digital media channels, aimed at raising the profile and promoting the activity and initiatives of the departments. You'll build relationships internally with academics and externally with media stakeholders, and will create compelling content (written, video, podcasts etc) across a range of subjects.

A self-starter, comfortable managing your own work, proactive and creative, you'll enjoy working at pace and generating content - in differing tone - on a wide range of themes. We're looking for a PR pro who can land and add value quickly, and there is the potential for the role to become permanent.

The role is offered on a day rate of £300/day via umbrella, a hybrid model with min 2 days on site.

Interviews, via Teams, are tabled for 16th Jan, with a swift start following that.
