VMAGROUP are working with a travel technology company to hire an Interim Head of Global Communications for a minimum of 6 months. The Head of Global Communications will be responsible for providing strategic external corporate communications/PR and implementation for the business internationally.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead corporate PR and communications globally
• Monitor and analyse communications/PR related activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, driving the organisation beyond trade media
• Reputation and issues management
• Act as lead media spokesperson globally and lead proactive and reactive communications
• Oversee key central functions such as crisis communications, press and media monitoring, media training, Q&A and briefing on key issues

Key requirements:

• Strong strategic corporate communications professional with extensive global experience
• Experience working within the travel technology or travel industry
• Experience as a company spokesperson: comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews with a good knowledge of the international media landscape
• Experience building successful integrated communications campaigns
