Head of Retail and Commercial Engagement - CHARITY

£53,000 - £58,500 p/a + benefits


This role is responsible for developing, planning and delivering marketing activity to help deliver the Retail strategy and objectives, working collaboratively with the Retail and Commercial teams. 


Key responsibilities:

-To be responsible for overall development, planning, implementation and continuous improvement of store communications, including wider supporter, brand and cause activity, along with store branding guidelines and their implementation optimising the shopper experience to drive sales, repeat purchases and consumer loyalty

-To be responsible for the development and delivery of Retail local marketing communications, utilising insight to maximise efficiency and meet business targets

- To be responsible for maximising opportunities from commercial data sources, developing plans and customer journeys, working with key stakeholders to meet wider business and charity objectives and KPIs

-To be responsible for the day to day management and development of the Commercial Engagement team, related suppliers and supporting agencies, including contractual and data requirements

- Responsible for leading the team to deliver against multi-million-pound income and expenditure budgets and in devising and implementing high-level plans, budgeting and forecasting


Person specification:

-Demonstrable experience of successfully designing and managing commercial marketing strategies across a Retail network, ideally with a UK wide reach

-Extensive and demonstrative commercial and retail experience devising and developing retail marketing activity across a full range of channels and audiences including gathering and utilising customer insight

-Experience of successfully optimising the in-store shopper experience, driving sales and customer engagement across all POS, in-store radio and screens, window displays and external signage

-Experience of developing and delivering on line marketing strategies customer journeys to engage and retain supporters
