Head of Marketing & Communications
Exclusive opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing & Communications to join a global membership organisation.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the creation, development, implementation and measurement of the organisation’s marketing and communications strategies and plans, and accountability for delivering an effective and continuously improving member experience based on data-driven insights and a digital-first member experience.
Central London based, hybrid working – 2/3 days in office, 2/3 from home
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop & deliver a progressive marketing and communications strategy
Develop the organisation’s member-first digital strategy
Deliver a strategic approach to our communications, focused on proactive, high-quality, relevant initiatives among target stakeholders
Lead a team of in house marketing professionals and also oversee additional agency relationships
Support in the development of the organisation’s brand strategy
Manage organisation's website, ensuring content is best in class across on and offline marketing channels
Manage and develop the organisation’s media relations and reputation management
Oversee production and delivery of a monthly magazine, annual report and ad hoc thought leadership
Develop an effective strategic content framework across the organisation
Oversee the organisation’s conference & events calendar
Manage marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency
Skills and Experience:
Graduate or postgraduate marketing/communications qualification or equivalent
Significant marketing and communications experience, including in strategy
Management and leadership of creative teams, including attracting and retaining key talent, coaching and managing performance
Selection and management of external agencies
Building and scaling cross-functional marketing programmes and campaigns
Digital marketing expertise, using data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements
Experience working in professional membership organisations
