​Our global client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire a talented and experienced Head of Internal Communications for the Digital and Tech Division of the business. We are looking for someone who can inspire, inform and engage the business and bring them together with the company’s purpose, mission and vision.

The Head of Communications. Digital & Tech will be responsible for developing and delivering the internal engagement strategy for the function, ensuring it aligns with the overarching strategy, as well as developing and delivering written and visual content, which will be shared across the various digital channels used so you can take employee engagement to the next level.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, confident and can be a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team. You will work across multiple locations, prioritise responsibilities, advise internal communications best practices and continuously improve as you go along using metrics and data.

You will have mentioning and management responsibilities for two communications leads in India and Poland.

We are looking for someone who is excited and interested in the world of technology and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the direction and deliver the Internal Communications strategy Digital and Tech division of the business

  • Use data and insight to support and deliver culture change and key employee campaigns and initiatives

  • Build and maintain confidence in the brand for the future, amplifying good news stories, highlighting product news and highlighting Digital & Tech’s contribution to the business where relevant

  • Provide internal communications advice and best practice ideas to the Senior leadership team

  • Create an manage a global engagement community/network of champions

  • Work with creative agencies and vendors as needed to develop and execute cohesive communications plans that work across our internal environment

  • Deliver activities on time and within budget

  • Test and learn new communications tactics to drive innovation and engagement

  • Build and develop relationships with influencers and stakeholders both within and outside the technology function

  • Drive a digital-first approach to internal communication, delivering the latest technologies and trends

  • Provide input on crisis and issues management where relevant, and participate in table-top preparedness activities
