Job purpose

For our client, a Belgium based consumer goods / retailer brands multinational with manufacturing and sales & marketing offices around the globe we are looking for a (global) Head of Corporate Communications.

She/he will be responsible for developing and implementing the corporate communication strategy for for both internal and external audiences. Reporting to the CHRO, this position leads the global communications team and works closely with the CEO, Executive Committee and senior leaders across the business. The role will focus on strengthening the communications to amplify the company brand, strategy and culture.

  • Highly strategic and critical role in context of publicly traded company to multiple stakeholders.

  • Set up team to support activities:

  • 2 direct reports: external communication manager and internal communication manager;

  • Partnership role with Finance team, including Investor Relations;

  • Advising role for local marketing teams regarding brand and corporate PR;

  • Supporting local HR teams in all internal communications (incl. training).

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Corporate Communication, Marketing Communications or related education.

  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience within corporate communications.

  • Experience in stock-listed companies of comparable scope and scale.

  • Knowledge of new technologies, tools and recognized for its innovative approaches.

  • Change communications and crisis management experience required.

  • Fluency (written and oral) in English. Required to also be fluent in Dutch or French in addition to English.
