VMAGROUP is partnering with the V&A Museum to find a dynamic Head of Communications as a 12-month maternity cover, to lead and deliver the V&A’s overall corporate, PR and digital communications activity.
Leading a highly talented team of seven, this role is part of the senior management team in the V&A Audience, Commercial and Digital division, and spans the V&A’s family of museums – from South Kensington, to the transformation of the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, and the development of V&A East - two new sites currently under construction on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
The Head of Comms proactively drives and shapes the V&A’s reputation, delivers the V&A’s communications strategy, oversees the V&A’s world-famous exhibition campaigns -from fashion blockbusters to immersive Alice in Wonderland experiences - and leads digital communications across the V&A. The Head of Comms also oversees a rich pipeline of broadcast and streaming partnerships and programming, including the V&A’s documentary series Secrets of the Museum on BBC Two.
