Our client, a global manufacturing and services business, is looking for a Head of Communications for a major division; a role which spans internal and external communication and which partners with the highest level of leadership.

As the divisional Head of Communications, and as part of a wider communications team and community, you'll lead on the strategy, planning and execution of commercially aligned communications activities that support the organisation's purpose, build understanding of the strategy and enhance levels of engagement across the business, especially at an operational level. You'll will:

  • Develop the divisional communications strategy in line with business strategy, focusing both internally and external (c.70/30)

  • Work with leadership to define priorities and deliver tailored communications plans around specific issues

  • Collaborate with Group communications colleagues to support wider strategic objectives, being the voice of your division in business-wide projects

  • Work with marketing/brand colleagues to develop and deliver content externally

  • Liaise with external stakeholders around key business initiatives and to build reputation and visibility for the business

  • Work with colleagues in HR to enhance EVP and evolve the working culture

We're looking for someone with a strong communications background gained within large corporates, ideally with a global footprint. You'll be a consummate business partner, with strong stakeholder management skills, clear thinking, proactive and outcome orientated. You'll have the gravitas to influence and the expertise to offer counsel and guidance. You must have considerable experience within internal communications and some broader corporate communications background. Importantly, you'll be hands-on and enjoy the delivery as much as the strategy. A broad remit and fantastic opportunity for a driven, commercial, creative communicator seeking greater autonomy and responsibility.

The role is offered on a hybrid model, with time spent in the office as well as some international travel. A competitive basic salary and strong benefits package is available.
