The Growth Lead role in our client’s Amsterdam office is pivotal in shaping the strategy, and efforts of conversion optimizations across our client’s product domains. The role reports to the Head of Product of Next Generation Products Digital and will be responsible to manage and deploy CRO agency resources across our product domains.

The role is responsible for:

  • Measurement (web analytics)

  • Implementation of basic (web analytics) reports

  • Optimisation of user-journeys based on data and strategic priorities

This role requires proven leadership experience and expertise to lead, inspire, mentor and coach our client’s Next Generation Products Digital product teams and drive exceptional performance and productivity. While being responsible for setting up and managing the CRO strategy, framework, prioritization, reporting and tool selection - a hands-on approach while working together with the Digital leadership team and Category teams to address the bigger topics and get them prioritized on the Digital Product Roadmap.

Working closely with the UX, SEO, content and engineering roles in Next Generation Products Digital, the role of the Growth Lead is to deliver optimal user experience and devise strategies to reach full potential across user engagements.

Next to quantitative research, our client expects the Growth lead to lead and support workshops with stakeholders and consumers to capture qualitative input.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own web analytics implementation(s) and improvement roadmap.

  • Own the split testing roadmap (A/B, Multivariate).

  • Own web analytics reporting for (non-technical) stakeholders and (internal) users.

  • Develop own and drive measurement and CRO roadmap (ensuring stakeholder buy-in).

  • Collaborate with various stakeholder groups to develop and prioritize the CRO backlog.

  • Identify and differentiate optimisation initiatives across front-end, back-end and various product teams.

  • Lead CRO maturity development, through knowledge sharing, training and best practices.

  • Drive detailed test hypothesis and opportunity mapping.

  • Build out the UX research and qualitative analysis function.

  • Track and interpret user behaviour.

  • Work with executive management on a long-term strategy to grow the optimisation team.

  • Identify new conversion opportunities across the site to enhance commercial returns.

  • Identify & test new technologies and practices to improve conversion rate performance, free growth, consumer engagement, delivery against key metrics.

YOUR PROFILE:

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in CRO, experiments, digital analytics, or data/insights.

  • Proven track record in managing, growing and coaching teams of CRO experts (ideally analysts and User Researchers).

  • Deep knowledge and expertise in CRO methods and best practices, alongside analytics and data.

  • Extensive split testing experience (A/B and MVT).

  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to gain trust and confidence from teams and stakeholders.

  • Work with product teams to drive intelligent, sustainable growth through continuous learning and innovation.

  • Drive the personalisation of user journeys and establish an optimisation framework to deliver significant growth across a network of sites.

Desirable:

  • Experience leading and driving CRO projects in a high-volume, user-centric digital environment.

  • Experience of working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

  • Knowledge and experience working with scrum framework (including scrum ceremonies)

  • Web Analytics experience
