A highly regarded independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services is seeking a Global Social Media Specialist. You will be joining an integrated communications team to help deliver their global social media strategy, increase brand awareness and showcase their expertise. Ideally you will have b2b experience and be skilled in paid campaigns. This is a newly created role, joining a small but highly collaborative team, and your role will be to help drive their global social media platform.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure high standards of quality and creativity on their social platforms ─ LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Identify opportunities to optimise social content and campaigns and support their delivery, via their social media agency
  • Guide stakeholders through requirements and processes to facilitate the development of compelling content
  • Lead and facilitate Paid Social Media Campaigns, acting as a point of contact between internal stakeholders and agency
  • Use data platforms and listening tools to generate insights and reports for the team and stakeholders
  • Write and edit content, to high standards of quality for posts, captions, briefs and social media guides, presentations, reports and other resources
  • Co-create and manage social media campaigns and programmes in collaboration with region colleagues
  • Work independently to manage day-to-day global social media efforts, including real-time social media queries from stakeholders
  • Ensure brand consistency through tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging on all social media activity
  • Use SEO and aligned keyword strategy on social media outputs

Key skills and experience

  • Hands-on experience as a B2B social media manager
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing and the digital ecosystem
  • Proven track record in delivering paid social media campaigns
  • Excellent writing skills with experience of writing social media copy
  • In-depth knowledge of native social media tools for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and a thorough understanding of how a business can and should use them
  • In-depth knowledge of using paid social media management tools
  • Experience of managing social media accounts for global brands and driving content strategy
  • Experience of managing the day-to-day relationship with external agencies
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and terminology
  • Excellent ability to use social media publishing platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon, Sprinklr etc.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics and ability to analyse data
