A regulatory body within healthcare are recruiting an External Affairs Manager on a 6-9 month contract. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the external affairs programme which includes, stakeholder engagement, media relations, events and PR.

Key responsibilities:

• You will lead on the communications strategy and will engage with all stakeholder audiences and manage proactive and reactive media relations and PR campaigns
• Manage engagement activities, working closely with senior leaders
• Manage the internal and external events programme
• Oversee the media function and manage social media, crisis, proactive and reactive media relations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists
