My client is a market leader in the transportation sector. They are an extremely reputable national company.

This role offers the ability to mould this role, as well as a solid team to learn and develop with.

This person can get involved in other areas of comms too, perhaps some external if that is of interest.

There is an element of Public Affairs within the role.

Someone who perhaps is looking for that next step up, and to get involved in the strategy.

Although there is a nice portion of delivery and they are looking for someone who is a do-er but would like to create strategies, stakeholder manage across all levels including the senior leaders through to the front line and be part of their newly created exciting IC strategy which will be a key project for you.

 

My client is entrepreneurial and non-hierarchical which is great for this person to really establish themselves quickly.

Lots of senior stakeholder piece,

Would offer this person the ability to access the Chief Exec, CFO, Directors, having that senior access.

This role has become more ‘audience focused’, and has a nice employee engagement piece,

This person will be the conduit to the other business comms teams around the UK which is a pivotal role for the business. This is a key hire for them.

Secondments available in the wider business, this is a complex matrix organisation with lots of opportunity.

Have internal comms tools in place, like someone to come in and take ownership, strategically assess which ones work and suggest potentials.

Lots of autonomy and creative freedom, sounds like a great platform to step in to.

Ideal candidate:

  • Exec level or higher with significant IC experience,
  • Doer, can do attitude happy to pick up things, someone who wants to get involved in strategy, senior stakeholder exposure, someone who wants to develop and grow.
  • Long term so much potential, have clear development goals and career structure, lots of room above you.

Open on sector background, though ideally coming from a B2C, matrix or transport background. It is fast paced so someone who can demonstrate they thrive in a multi-project environment.
