This is a critical, senior-level role at the cutting edge of one of the UK’s most high-profile charities and an organisation that is discovering new ways to fix, treat & save one of the most precious parts of all of us.
The BHF is a cardiovascular research charity that funds medical research related to heart & circulatory diseases and their risk factors, and also runs influencing work aimed at shaping public policy and raising awareness.
This leadership role requires a candidate who combines deep credibility & expertise with top-notch collaborative qualities and a calm, empathetic personal style. As a trusted advisor to the organisation’s senior leadership, you’ll be an unruffled team player who can drive PR, communications and corporate affairs strategy. You’ll be right at the very heart of promoting and protecting the BHF’s reputation, building brand awareness and generating support and engagement to ultimately drive income.
Working closely with the CEO, Executive Group and the Trustee Board, you’ll lead on all reputation issues and crisis response, preparing senior stakeholders to deliver best-in-class external & internal communications. You’ll also take responsibility for 5x direct reports and a wider function of more than 30.
Starting at the end of the summer, this 9-12 month FTC is covering an internal secondment and will offer hybrid working from the BHF’s London HQ. Please contact me for further information
