Job Purpose:
The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the strategic objectives of the organisation are achieved through the delivery of key marketing projects. The incumbent is recognised as an expert in the field of digital project management, including business case development.
The role will ultimately be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
The position requires regular liaison with project team members, executives, and key stakeholders within and potentially additional third parties.
Accountabilities:
Objectives
Work with SVP Digital, CMO and Global Brand to develop project prioritisation framework and planning process including the full project documentation processes.
Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, documentation and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
Actively manage the governance and prioritization process for project delivery within Corporate Marketing.
Assist in the definition of project scope, requirements and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, set project quality and performance standards, and assess and manage risk within, and across, multiple projects.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects.
Actively manage stakeholders, vendors SMEs and project teams, highlighting risks and resource issues as required.
Formal Change Control process to be followed throughout the project lifecycle in adherence to Project standards and the Project Management Plan.
Ensure business readiness for the staff in place prior to any deployment, as agreed by relevant project and business stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver accurate, relevant and timely reporting in alignment with PMO standards.
Ensure Status updates, Action Items Registers and Decisions Logs are maintained, escalating areas of concern to relevant stakeholders and leaders.
Performance Measures
Develop and maintain a register of all active and non-active projects, including timelines and resources, to maintain visibility.
Develop and maintain all project documentation including but not limited to Project Initiation Briefs, Project Management Plans, Project Workbooks Risk Issue Registers.
Global alignment on project timelines, priorities and delivery.
Delivery of projects within time, scope and budget.
Project team meetings, workshops and outcomes delivered.
Communicating progress, risks and issues in a timely manner to Project Sponsor and Marketing SteerCo.
Maintain the project budget and plan according to the agreed standards and tolerance levels specified (including agreed contingencies and resolution actions etc).
Successful transition of projects from implementation to ‘’Business As Usual’’.
Fortnightly status reports, Steering Committee reports, Business Leader reports, plus ad-hoc reports and presentations if required.
Skills & Capabilities:
Proven experience/knowledge in a project management capacity and digital project execution across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, concepts and principles
Demonstrated ability in analysing and reporting project performance and status, e.g. quality, time, budget, risk, forecasting, etc.
Ability to create a vision shared goals and drivers. Motivate and develop key stakeholders & team members. Ability to analyse and communicate Business Intelligence program information.
Ability to think independently, with well-developed written and consultation skills
Experience:
5 Years + Project Management (Digital, IT, Marketing related)
Qualification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2)
Proven ability to scale a business through digital success within a global organisation
