A leading UK commercial property developer is seeking a Digital Corporate Communications Manager. The role reports into the Head of Corporate Communications and requires management of external agencies. As one of Europe’s largest listed real estate investment companies, their strategy is to provide places which meet the needs of customers and respond to changing lifestyles; to develop places which are designed to meet high sustainability standards, become part of local communities, provide opportunities for skills development and employment and promote wellbeing.
The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for creating and delivering a digital calendar that optimises digital channels and maximises opportunities for customers. The successful candidate will be joining a FTSE 100 with a big digital appetite, so it’s an excellent opportunity to take ownership of this digital space, be creative, entrepreneurial and help promote and protect the corporate brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a digital marketing strategy, defining the roles of each of the digital channels to achieve both marketing and business objectives
Create a plan that maximises the impact of each channel
Manage agency partners
Work closely with local marketing managers to establish a digital content schedule
Ensure the brands and messaging is consistent across all digital channels
Translate the digital comms strategy into ideas that achieve business objectives across website, email and social channels
Become a digital marketing advocate within the business
Deliver regular reporting, ensuring key stakeholders amongst the property management and asset management teams are kept abreast of developments across digital channels
Required Skills
Experience of working collaboratively to create cohesive digital strategy
Understanding of Digital and wider marketing channels, as well as how digital can be used to drive customer awareness and engagement
Experience in effectively managing websites, social media, PPC and SEO to deliver business results
Experience in using CRM and marketing automation platforms to optimise performance
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Knowledge of online user experience, digital marketing techniques and digital analytics
Customer focused, using data and analytics to deliver to customer requirements and feedback
Innovative thinker, using market change, competitor and comparator insights to promote change
Budget management experience
Ability to juggle multiple projects, to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work on own and as part of a diverse team
