My client is a property developer that has stood the test of time. They are now looking to grow further by expanding their digital presence..

 

The role

The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for creating and delivering a digital calendar that optimises digital channels, aligns with retail and campus activities and maximises opportunities for their customers. They are also seeking someone with broad experience who understands digital and can demonstrate experience on digital comms planning. They must have solid stakeholder management skills and will cover our office campuses and retail. They will manage a team of 5.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop a digital marketing strategy, defining the roles of each of the digital channels - how they should work together and with offline channels to achieve both marketing and business objectives.

-local marketing managers at retail and campuses to establish a content schedule for digital, to receive content to support scheduled messaging and to clearly defining the objective of each piece of communication

-Translate the digital comms strategy to ideas that achieve our objectives across channels (websites, email and social) setting parameters for on-the ground marketing resource and supporting them to help deliver the objectives

-Manage direct reports and give hands on help to develop their skillset as well as being able to give strategic vision and direction to ensure they deliver the business objectives and improve their personal development

 

 Knowledge & Skills:

-Experience of working collaboratively to create cohesive digital strategy.

-Understanding of Digital and wider marketing channels, as well as how digital can be used to drive customer awareness and engagement

-Experience in effectively managing websites, social media, PPC and SEO to deliver business results

-Experience in using CRM and marketing automation platforms to optimise performance

-Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

-Knowledge of online user experience, digital marketing techniques and digital analytics

-Customer focused, using data and analytics to deliver to customer requirements and feedback

-Innovative thinker, using market change, competitor and comparator insights to promote change

-Budget management experience and how budgets can be allocated across service charge

-Ability to juggle multiple projects, to prioritise and meet tight deadlines

-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

-Proven ability to work on own and as part of a diverse team

-Effective team management
