​Here’s an immediate interim opportunity for a Deputy Head of Communications to join a London University on a 6-month basis.

You’ll be responsible both for its vital comms functions, covering social/digital media, corporate communications, research & publications, content and editorial, and managing the busy, 7-strong Communications team.

This is a highly visible role and you’ll be working closely with the University’s leaders so you’ll need to be entirely comfortable operating at that level and in fast-paced environments with minimal direction.

As an experienced, senior-level comms professional, you’ll naturally be an accomplished writer/editor, leading on projects like the Annual Report. You'll also have the ability to navigate crises, manage issues and engage effectively & proactively with the media.
