An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this well-known British organisation as Corporate Communications Campaigns Manager to support and enhance the company’s reputation through national, regional and trade media engagement.
Key responsibilities:
To support and enhance the company’s reputation with external stakeholders and, in particular, the UK national, regional and trade media.
Support the delivery of targeted campaigns to meet the needs of business, consumer and corporate stakeholders. Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and advisors to achieve this.
Support the Corporate Communications Lead in the creation of compelling, high quality and accurate communications content for all aspects of the financial calendar.
Support the Corporate Communications Lead in the creation of compelling, high quality and accurate communications content for all aspects of major corporate activity such as takeovers and industrial action
Working with the Corporate Communications Lead, support the delivery of key external projects relating to regulation, the environment, parcels, letters and key calendar events.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the busy press office function engaging in issues management to ensure the best reputational outcome for the business.
Ensure that all communications content aligns with and actively supports the overarching narrative, communications standards , principles and timescales of the business.
Key experience:
Ideally experience working in a Listed company environment. Or strong agency experience.
Media relations experience – especially in reputation and or crisis management.
Ability to write creative and engaging copy to satisfy media and internal objectives.
Experience in all forms of communications content, gained in either business or media environment.
Thorough understanding of diverse and evolving mix of communications channels with the ability to deliver integrated plans across multiple channels
Ability to create engaging communication strategies and campaigns across a large, complex, unionised organisations during a period of considerable change
