The Content Lead role is an exciting position in the creative and marketing team, focusing on social media and digital marketing. You will be the gatekeeper of the brand’s tone of voice, and an expert in how social plays a role in the wider business objectives. Working closely with the internal teams you will effectively tell our strategic and thoughtful story, resulting in content our audience will love.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Head of Brand to develop thoughtful and engaging content, and ensure excellence in delivery at all times.
Convey complex ideas and topics simply and in a compelling way.
Drive the global content strategy to lift engagement across digital channels and brand touchpoints to educate and stimulate potential clients.
Build our tone of voice as we evolve.
Proactively transform the first spark into the final delivery of excellent social content and campaigns, and ad-hoc company briefs.
Ensure all communication output is on brand and unified, and aligns with objectives, purpose and target audience.
Create and manage social media content plans.
Write engaging long-form and short-form copy ranging from whitepapers to blog posts to newsletters to socials.
Work on multiple briefs, with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workflow, whilst thinking quickly and strategically to a high standard.
Employ digital metrics and user personas to propose solutions to fit wider business objectives and identify and seek opportunities.
Contribute and generate ideas to wider content deliverables and strategy.
Develop a growth mindset to change the world through the clients and the businesses campaigns to increase inbound sales enquiries and industry referrals.
Encourage an environment of creativity, pushing the team and clients to strive to go that one step further in seeing the bigger picture.
Mentor and support colleagues where needed.
Is a natural ideas geek and creative who can utilise social and digital capabilities.
Embraces the fast-paced nature of a start-up and the ability to adapt.
Can think strategically about marketing and sustainability challenges, whatever the brief, audience and channel.
Has 4+ years of solid copywriting experience in content marketing ideally in an agency, an excellent wordsmith, communicator and storyteller.
Has proficient computer skills and a willingness to upskill.
Is a self-starter and has the ability to oversee our brand growth in a fast-paced environment
Can work as alone, and as part of a team.
Experience in MaaS, SaaS or b2b tech company.
Familiar with SEO practices.
