​Our client is a PE backed environmental services business with a UK-wide footprint. Reporting into the People Director, this role spans both internal communications & engagement and broader externally facing corporate communications & media relations (not marketing). We're looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic communications professional looking for greater autonomy and step-up.

In this role you'll be responsible for creating engaging and informative internal comms content, covering topics such as health & safety, ESG, DE&I and beyond. Externally, you'll help the business manage it's relationships with local media, across various sites around the UK, and will shape the corporate narrative of the business division.

We are looking for someone with a strong internal and/or corporate communications background, preferably spanning both and with experience of reaching non-office based employees

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days on site (HQ is mid-Somerset, although there are sites across the UK) and occasional travel to other sites.
