Communications Manager – Food & Beverage

Exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to join a high profile trade association in the drinks/hospitality industry.

 

You will be responsible for delivering the external communications strategy for the organisation.

 

Key skills/responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage plan, and lead press activity, including the day to day running of the press office and developing relationships with journalists.

  • Responsible for line management of the Communications Officer.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including members.

  • Proactively engage with internal and external policy and public affairs colleagues to help the Director of Communications and External Affairs in delivering integrated PR and public affairs campaigns to maximise the organistaion’s political influence and media profile.

  • Contribute to and lead the communications strategy for the diversity and inclusion agenda across the organisation, its membership and the wider industry.

  • Support the Director of Communications in the rebrand rollout and development of a new website for the organisation.

  • Experience working in the food & drink industry or a high profile trade association would be very helpful.
