​We are looking to recruit a skilled communications manager to develop and manage our client’s Community Investment strategy and plan. You will be responsible for developing the plan and the implementation process ensuring it aligns with the company brand, vision, and values.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving forward the Community investment program which has a focus on STEM Education and removing barriers around STEM Education.

  • Building internal and external networks of community ambassadors.

  • Driving volunteering activity in line with the companies sustainability targets.

  • Managing and pushing the adoption of the companies charitable giving and match funding programs.

  • To act as guardian for the company brand, including maintaining, evolving, and implementing coherent guidelines for the expression of the brand, ambition, purpose, and strategy across all channels in response to business needs as required.

  • Own and drive the community investment agenda, including the community investment strategy, plan, and policies.

  • Establish clear impact metrics across community investment.

  • Build on and relaunch the companies flagship community investment programme.

  • Drive engagement with employee volunteering and own adoption plans and communications.

  • Build and maintain a network of community investment ambassadors.

  • Maintain and add rigor to funding and charitable giving activities.

  • Own and launch the new community investment platform.

  • Align community investment strategy with the wider brand and storytelling goals.

  • Establishing appropriate brand guidelines and policies for all internal and external touchpoints, including online, print, film, merchandising, signage and buildings, marketing communication and colleague communication collateral.

  • Own and keep the brand policy, procedures and governance, continuously seeking ways to do things better to drive greater efficiencies for the business and greater quality of work.

  • Own all brand-related platforms including its digital asset management system.
