A leading trade association representing the investment company industry is looking for a Communications Manager to lead their media relations, in addition to producing content for their social media. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-profile press office and develop relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reactive media enquiries and maintain and develop relationships with press and other key industry contacts

• Help devise public relations and communications campaigns to fit the organisation's strategic goals

• Create engaging content including press releases, blogs, articles and social media updates

• Act as an industry spokesperson

• Support on crisis communications

• Support the organisation's training and education programme

Requirements:

• Understanding of the investment company industry and the investment landscape more generally

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a variety of formats

• Numerate, with the ability to analyse statistical data

• Strong news sense and ability to spot opportunities

• Ability to develop relationships with broad range of stakeholders

• Social media experience
