The role: Client Marketing Event Campaigns Associate

Job Purpose/Background:

The role sits within the EMEA client marketing team focusing on commercial client owned campaigns across EMEA. As a central function the team objective is to drive measurable commercial impact by delivering engaging and relevant event and content at scale to clients via a data driven marketing platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management:

·       Develop and manage commercial digital and in person events to increase engagement with key product segment and thought leadership.

·       Develop event agendas, narratives and promotional asset to support the ongoing marketing engagement.

 

Campaign Development:

·       Develop multi touch email campaign strategy to increase engagement with key product segments and to deliver timely market insights and messaging to clients

·       Use segmentation model to identify interested audiences and develop campaign messaging to drive from awareness through to conversion for key product segments

 

Reporting and measurement:

Measuring campaign performance and content effectiveness to drive engagement and enhance future campaigns, delivering insights to sales and marketing partners.

Relationships:

·       Build and maintain strong working relationships with the local market country marketing managers (CMMs) and ensure central marketing initiatives are aligned with local objectives and emerging opportunities.

·       Work in lockstep with both the campaign marketing and product marketing teams which also sit within the EMEA central marketing team.

·       Build a network of contacts across different product/service specialists within EMEA.

·       Build effective relationships with marketing counterparts in US, Latin America and APAC.

 

Knowledge/Experience:

·       Demonstrable client or product marketing experience, in the asset management industry or similar.

·       Experience of owned channel marketing (web, email and events)

·       Ideally experience scaling campaigns across multiple languages/countries

Competencies:

·       Relationships driven with the ability to build strong relationships quickly

·       Excellent verbal and written skills with extremely good attention to detail

·       Strong commercial acumen is an advantage

·       Dynamic with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and process

·       Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, drive forward key initiatives and manage workflow on simultaneous projects

·       Creative, ideas-driven and self-motivated

·       Able to work independently, yet a team player

Ability to work effectively in an international team environment often in a complex matrix structure.
