​Job Description

Our client, a central London-based global law firm, is on the lookout for a Change Communications Specialist to support the Senior Change Communications Manager in planing and delivering internal communications & engagement strategies in support of a major change programme around an exciting, multi-million pound, office relocation project.

This brand new position into an established function, designed to support with a unique and exciting project, has an immediate start and is for an initial minimum of 12-months (fixed-term), with a strong possibility of contract extension/permanent offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communications plans for the change project, ensuring that programme projects and activities are communicated effectively and appropriately, developing deliverables as required.

  • Alongside the designated Senior Change Comms Manager, project managers & teams, help define communications objectives, plans and key messages to support the successful achievement of programme and project objectives.

  • Support the execution of communications plans - utilising both established communications channels (including newsletter articles, wiki page content, Q&A documents, presentation material) to deliver content effectively as well as researching and implementing new innovative channels of communication.

  • Supporting with stakeholder research and analysis, to help define communications objectives and key messages to support the communications objectives. Assisting with stakeholder research and analysis, to help define communications objectives and key messages

  • Advising on assessment and measurement of outcomes

  • Work with the wider immediate team as well as Project Managers to deliver communications support relating to additional strategic projects

Key Requirements

  • A change communications specialist, with demonstrable internal communications experience (min. 3 years’ experience)

  • Have experience working in a large, complex organisation, and with multiple stakeholders and can deal with people at various levels of the organisation

  • Understands the latest internal communications techniques and approaches to increase engagement and drive cultural change

  • Have practical experience of implementing internal communications to support leaders and employees through change

  • Have practical experience of implementing a communication plan where changes are delivered through multiple workstreams and project leads

  • Be able to provide compelling examples of influencing people’s behaviour to adapt to change through a solid, joined-up communication strategy and plan

  • Strong technical expertise and experience of working with a variety of internal channels

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, self-manage and prioritise workload

  • Excellent copywriting and content skills
