​Job Title: Business Manager in EMEA Marketing COO & Strategy Function

Location: Madrid, Spain

Job type: interim, 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management and Financial Reporting: Support the comprehensive management of marketing budgets including the forecasting cycles. Assist in preparing financial reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting budget utilization and insights for cost optimization

  • Strategic Initiatives and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) Support: Drive the execution of strategic marketing initiatives. Contribute to the preparation and analysis of Quarterly Business Reviews, providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions

  • Internal Communications and Event Coordination: Support internal marketing communications to ensure clear messaging across the organization. Assist in coordinating operating events, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and smooth execution

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Develop and oversee KPI management dashboard and provide regular insights and analyses to enhance marketing strategies and operations

  • Contribute to operating event reporting and support in managing the end-to-end process for quarterly business reviews

  • Compliance and Governance: Assist and support the coordination and management of regular functional reviews including internal audits, functional compliance trainings, and regulator vendor reviews to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements

  • Business Process and Function Modernisation: Support regulator marketing process reviews and lead projects to improve & streamline existing process and continuously modernise the function including talent skillset development initiatives

Knowledge / Experience:

  • A degree in business studies, economics, or marketing

  • Demonstrable experience in strategy consulting or a related business management role, ideally gained working in financial services industry and/or marketing

  • Profound strategic thinking ability and experience in developing presentations for senior management

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of German is an advantage

  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, lead key initiatives, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with meticulous attention to detail

  • A results-driven mindset

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
